LANSDALE, PA> Hey, Ho, Let's Go...to The Underground! This weekend, Lansdale's music hotspot, The Underground (owned and operated by Round Guys Brewing Company) hosted a unique lineup of talent that solidified The Undergrounds presence as a front running area music venue. The night began with a heart-string tugging performance by Phoenixville natives, Girl Science. The duo, consisting of Jason on guitar and Savvy on vocals, kicked the night off with a performance of "Fix." The crowd was immediately drawn into Savvys chilling vocals as she sang from her heart beneath the glow of the colored stage lights. Following Girl Science was the native Lansdale band, Victor Traps. Once again the raucous, ear-piercing and rocket powered punk rock band extracted all the energy of love and heartbreak and performed a blitzkrieg set. The band debuted a new song, "Borderline" amongst other classic hits such as "Keepsake" and "Maggies Song." This power set led into to a tremendous, earth rattling performance by alt/punk Philadelphia natives, Oh, Are They?. Seeing as this was the bands debut gig in Lansdale, the harnessed a serious amount of energy that got the crowd moving all over the place! These guys most definitely need to make a return! The evenings headliner was that of punk rock royalty, Joe Jack Talcum of The Dead Milkmen. This was also Joe's debut at The Underground. His solo acoustic show was absolutely magical. Oh yeah, he definitely played "Punk Rock Girl." The local punk crowd came out in droves and were in awe of this absolute legend right here in their home town! Joe Jack would definitely be welcomed back in the future! All in, this night was magical. The lights, the sound, the vibe, the energy, and the community all wrapped together in the subterranean music venue in downtown Lansdale. The Underground is becoming a wonderful spot for live music, good brews and good times. Upcoming shows can be found on the venues website as well as their social media. The Underground is located at 408 W. Main St. Lansdale, PA 19446
